I just aquired a Baofeng BF-888s with programming lead and disk (CD) But no where on the disk is the software for my radio! I looked under kenwood H777 but no such file exsists! I tried online for the BF 480 software and upon downloading it - it came up with ??? ???? in each collumn of the spread sheet!! I tried to convert the ???? chinese into English but no again so i deleted the file!! Im running Windows XP service pak 3 and i also disabled my AVG software! And guess what!!!!!!! NOPE nothing worked yet again!!Baofeng
Please can anyone out there send me a working software file for my Baofeng BF-888s 440 - 470 UHF hand held TX/RX please all i want is to be able to programme it to work on 446 Mhz with all my personal settings within the software!!

Baofeng Bf-480 Software English Download

  1. Switch ON the BF-888s and it will be in programming mode. The programming cable must always be connected before switching the BF ON. In the BF-480 software select to READ from transceiver. Then clicking OK to read. The original setup can then be saved to a file before re-programming.
  2. To download, Right-Click the link and choose 'Save Target As' Programming Software for Wouxun Dual-Band Models KG-UV2D.zip or KG-UV2D.exe Latest Version Offers Customizable Welcome Screen on 2011 KG-UV2D Models, but also programs all dual-band models.

Re: Baofeng bf-888 English Software & USB Drivers Post by thelad ยป 27 May 2013, 14:33 just uninstalled mine and tryed to reinstall using the thread drivers and now will not work, getting the 2 dongs when you plug the usb in without the radio plugged in. Getting the yellow warning logo at the side of the usb drivers, tryed updating.
